Lego has long been used to create incredible designs and it seems that the only limit is your imagination for what you can build with these blocks. For example, (professional?) Lego builder Friedemann Wachsmuth has managed to construct a functioning Super 8 projector completely out of Lego technic-pieces.

The projector uses two motors for the rolls and run at 24 frames per second. It is equipped with automatic feed, rewind and has a reel capacity of 120mm. The only parts not made of Lego pieces are the lens, lamp and reels. The builder has used LED lighting that he says makes the picture extremely sharp. For all of you who want to make a DIY home movie projector, lets hope this guy will release some building instructions.
