Christopher Nolan could not care less what the filmmakers think. “The Dark Knight Rises” will not be filmed in 3D and displayed in the format. Nolan says that he didn’t want to film the new Batman movie in 3D, but wanted instead to invest in IMAX. Now comes an even clearer statement from the Briton who in an interview with The LA Times says that it is completely impossible to use format.

Nolan explains his firm’s view by seeking to hold together the three films that he is after this is completed, will have made. He also wants to retain the feeling created in the previous two films which would be difficult for production to adapt to 3D. Nolan also says that it wants to take advantage of the sense of space that was created in “The Dark Knight” which is becoming more difficult in digital 3D, which gives a more intimate feel.
